How do you enter the competition?
Apply online at www.swic.edu/secure/make-your-pitch.
Provide a description of the product or service; the problem to be solved; the target market; the competitive advantage; and business model, i.e., how the business will make money.
Application Deadline: Monday, April 5 (by midnight)
What is an elevator pitch?
Imagine that you run into someone in an elevator who can help you launch your product or service. You have to convince the person to invest in your product before she gets off the elevator. In just a couple of minutes you must give a description of the product and explain why it’s a worthwhile investment.
When and where is the competition?
Monday, April 26 from 5-9 p.m. at the Belleville Campus Theatre.
